MODERNISTA branches

For more than 20 years on the market, Modernista has established itself as a specialist in Czech furniture design and applied art, and as an authorised manufacturer and retailer of time-honoured objects from the 20th century and the design present.

Design Shop presents a wide range of quality and tasteful goods with an emphasis on Czech design and quality. You will find here a large selection of professional publications on design and applied art, replicas of originals from the UPM collections, glass, porcelain, jewellery, original author's fashion and accessories, textile products.

The Art Shop specializes mainly in replicas of cubist ceramics, applied art, but also contemporary design. We offer porcelain and ceramics, glass and jewellery - from Czech Cubism through Art Nouveau to contemporary Czech designers. Selected pieces of furniture, books and stationery are also on display.

The modernist can also be found on the ground floor of the House of the Black Mother of God, where the exhibition Czech Cubism was opened. On the ground floor, mainly replicas of Cubist ceramics represented in the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (UPM) are on sale.
