We organize photographic exhibitions, amateur astronomers' meetings or astronomy Olympiads. We issue certificates for naming asteroids. We carry out observations of variable stars, the sun and the study of interplanetary matter.

The observatory is a contributory organization of the Zlín Region. We are engaged in educational, popularization, professional and observation activities.

Amateur Sky Tour is a section of the Czech Astronomical Society. We bring together amateur and professional astronomers.
