We are a public university and one of the most important educational and research institutions in the East Bohemia region. Currently, more than 6 500 students study here. We offer almost 200 accredited study programmes at 4 faculties.

Tradition since 1959 and more than 200 study programmes at four faculties.

Operation of the administrative archive. Carrying out scientific research activities in the field of history of the University of Hradec Kralove. Providing exhibition and publication activities in the fields of archival science.

There is a department of music, English, Czech and German language and literature, cultural and religious studies, pedagogy and psychology, Slavic studies, social pathology and sociology as well as pedagogy, special education, technical subjects, physical education and sports, art culture and textile design.

Faculty consists of the departments of applied linguistics, economics, information technology, computer science and quantitative methods, management, recreation and tourism. It offers education in applied computer science and systems engineering.

The faculty consists of the Department of History, the Department of Archaeology, the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, the Department of Political Science, the Department of Sociology, the Department of Auxiliary Historical Sciences and the Department of Archives. It also includes a language training center.

Fakulta poskytuje vzdělání v oborech zaměřených na přírodovědné obory. Skládá se z katedry biologie, chemie, fyziky, informatiky a matematiky.
