A one-year practical school is a secondary school specially designed for the education of pupils with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, multiple concurrent disabilities and autism. The school complements and extends the pupils' theoretical and practical skills acquired during compulsory schooling.

The school helps to develop the mental and physical abilities and aptitudes of pupils with moderate, severe and profound intellectual disabilities to enable them to participate in social life to the maximum extent possible. Pupils can continue after graduation from the special primary school according to their abilities.

Kindergarten is a dislocated workplace. It caters for children with special educational needs, especially children with combined disabilities. It focuses on the development of the whole personality of the child with the aim of preparing him/her for life and to apply himself/herself in it according to his/her abilities and possibilities.
