We run a city museum. You can see our permanent exhibition Fishing Tradition in Vodnany, which deals with fishery, painting, fishing studies and research. There are fish specimens and fishing equipment on display. We hold regular exhibitions of the work of photographers and artists.

We operate a library with reference books and collections. Books are lent out by appointment. Here you will find the libraries of Gelastova, the Herites family, part of the library of the Wet family, Josef Holecek and the founders of the Žahour family as well as the poet Miloš Tůma. There is also a research room.
