Muzeum Chodska branches

We operate a museum with ethnographic collections, paintings, art and historical monuments. We organize theme days and short and long term exhibitions. We deal with conservation and treatment of collections. We carry out restoration of exhibits.

The exposition represents a part of the ethnographic collection of J. Jindřich, which numbers about 9.000 objects. There are also examples of Chod pottery and a unique collection of folk paintings on glass.

We operate a gallery dedicated to the work of the brothers painters Jaroslav and Karel Špillař. The gallery presents paintings of the landscape and life of the Chod people. The gallery includes a room for occasional exhibitions. We organize cultural and social events, exhibitions and lectures.
