Pražákův palác branches

The Pražák Palace offers permanent exhibitions and short-term exhibitions. The Atrium, the courtyard of the Pražák Palace, is the place for the presentation of the most contemporary art scene. There is also a gallery shop with a wide range of publications. The Pražák Palace also houses a library, which has been open to the public since 1883.

The Viceroy's Palace has been undergoing a long-term reconstruction. In the first phase, the renovated ground floor was opened, where you will find a new Bookshop, a quiet and green courtyard, the Typika café and the educational exhibition Art in your pocket.

The Josef Hoffmann Birthplace is a joint workplace of the Moravian Gallery in Brno and MAK Vienna. The permanent exhibition offers an interactive section for all curious visitors. At the same time, you can play an interactive quiz that introduces the life and work of Josef Hoffmann, a native of Brnník, in a playful way.

Jurkovič's villa is one of the most important architectural monuments of the turn of the 19th and 20th century in Brno. You can visit the villa during guided tours, which take place every hour.

The museum is dedicated not only to design itself, but also to fashion and the relationship between design and art. Visitors can expect a permanent exhibition, exhibitions and facilities prepared exclusively for the Moravian Gallery by leading Czech designers. You will find here Café robot - a robotic barista or an educational space for workshops and more.

The open depository offers not only a storage of collections, but also a look behind the scenes of museum work. Visitors will see experts digitizing and conserving art, including previously unexhibited works. Guided tours and workshops are planned.
