The first written report dates back to 1347. The village is located at an altitude of 370 metres. In the village there is a community centre, a primary and kindergarten, a gym, a multi-purpose playground or a library. There is a volunteer fire brigade.

We operate a municipal library. We offer the opportunity to borrow children's, young adult and adult fiction, educational literature and magazines. We provide free internet access and public information. We also organise original theatre performances and memory training courses.
