The first written report dates back to 1353. The village is located at an altitude of 542 metres. The village has a volunteer fire brigade, a hunting association, a sports club and a hunting association. There is also a library and a swimming pool.

We operate a municipal library. We offer the opportunity to borrow children's, young adult and adult fiction, educational literature and magazines. We provide internet access, printing and photocopying of documents. Books can be borrowed from our own collection, as well as from the Jihlava City Library.
