The first written report dates back to 1229. The village is located at an altitude of 479 meters. Čistecko is rich in forests, watercourses and ponds. There is a kindergarten and a primary school in the village.
We provide a permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of the town, local craft guilds, associations, personalities (including the poet Jaroslav Vrchlický, for whom Čistá was home for several years), school, industry, agriculture and entrepreneurs.
