The first written record dates back to 1351. The village is located at an altitude of 607 metres. Provision of Czech POINT services. The village has a library, a football team, a convenience store and small businesses. We organize cultural and social events for citizens and the public.

We operate a municipal library. We offer the possibility of borrowing fiction for children, youth and adults, educational literature and magazines. We provide free internet access and public information. Books can be borrowed from our own collection, but also from the Boskovice regional department.
