The first written record dates from 1376. The village is situated at an altitude of 251 metres. There are 681 inhabitants. The village organizes many cultural, social and sporting events every year. There is a library and a primary school.

We operate a municipal library which is regularly updated with book titles. Readers thus have more than 3,000 books at their disposal. We provide lending of books and magazines, internet access. We offer book reservations and an interlibrary loan service.
