The Municipal Authority is a municipal authority which is governed by Act No.128/2000 Coll., on Municipalities (Municipal Establishment), as amended, and performs tasks within the scope of the independent and delegated competence of the municipality. The municipal authority consists of the mayor, the deputy mayor, the secretary of the municipal authority and municipal employees.

We issue decisions on the granting of a license, on the suspension or operation of a trade. We keep a trade register. We deal with the performance of state administration. We keep the agenda of local fees and the register of agricultural entrepreneurs.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

We deal with the management of the city's economy. We monitor and analyze the City's current financial situation. We take inventory of the City's assets. We handle the agenda of the City's special purpose funds. We maintain the City's accounting records. We take care of the activities of the Czech Point office.

We deal with the administration of city property and property relations. We provide capital construction. We provide geometric surveying of real estate. We prepare contracts for the transfer of immovable property. We conclude and register mortgage agreements. We inspect and maintain traffic signs on city roads.

We are engaged in the maintenance of the vehicle register, the performance of state professional supervision in road transport, the administration of the agenda concerning driving schools and traffic offences.

We provide construction and legal activities of the city. We handle zoning and building permits and approvals as well as state building inspections. We archive construction documentation and related documents. We process and maintain the agenda and records of applications for state budget subsidies.

We provide civil registration, population registration, running of the mailroom and public address announcements. We post documents on the official board. We keep records of penalty blocks, legal and internal regulations of the city. We deal with the creation and updating of crisis management documents.
