The department provides basic methods of digestive endoscopy (gastroscopy, colonoscopy) and therapeutic methods (endoscopic treatment of bleeding using all modalities, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection). In cooperation with the X-ray department, it provides targeted and non-targeted liver biopsies.
