Its long list of exhibitions held in Prague, other parts of the country, and abroad is a testament to its open approach and the broad scope of its program. Salm Palace is a classical three-winged palace-type building on Hradčany Square. It was originally intended to be a luxury apartment building that belonged to the Schwarzenbergs, who combined it with the neighbouring Schwarzenberg Palace. In 2004, the building was taken over by the National Gallery Prague.
