We provide comprehensive specialist care and support to those suffering from serious illness and their carers in the home environment. Our focus is not just on the illness, but on the person.
People can enter sheltered housing after completing at least three months of treatment for addiction or after serving a sentence. The programme lasts 9 months. Users undergo mandatory 2-3 months of vocational rehabilitation, participate in support groups, enter employment, and repay their debts.
We offer home health care. We provide health checks, blood pressure monitoring, blood draws, medication preparation and administration. We also offer rehabilitation, counseling, crutch and walker training, breathing exercises and bedsore care. We rent medical equipment. We provide first aid training.
The Slezská Diakonie social service is intended for people aged 18 to 64 with chronic mental illness (psychotic and affective types) and people with mild intellectual disabilities who find themselves in an adverse social situation and need support from supported housing staff.
Our mission is to provide support, assistance and care to seniors in a comfortable and safe environment. We strive to provide an individualized service to our clients in such a way that life with us approximates their life at home. This is a chargeable registered social service.
