The museum is engaged in the professional collection of documents and documents that tell about the material and spiritual culture of the Roma from the earliest times to the present. This functionalist villa, designed by Ernst Wiesner for the family of textile manufacturer Alfred Stiassni, was completed in 1929 and occupied until 1938. The tour lasts about 50 minutes, capacity is 20 people.

The museum can be found in the Renaissance scholastery in the main square. It preserves and documents the memory of the eastern Brno region. It prepares thematically diverse exhibitions for its visitors, always accompanied by a playroom or a programme for children.
