The hospital was founded by the South Bohemia Region and has eight inpatient wards with 306 beds for acute and follow-up care and an extensive range of specialist outpatient care. The natural catchment area is the Strakonice, Klatovy, Prachatice and Písek regions.

Providing social and nursing care for the elderly. We offer accommodation in single and double rooms with shared bathroom facilities. We provide meals. We organise regular religious services, various leisure activities and handicrafts.
