The Rehabilitation Institute is a specialist medical institute with two departments with a long tradition of providing specialised rehabilitation care to patients after injuries and operations of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. We are one of the most important facilities in our country.

Rehabilitation Institute is a detached workplace. In the special workplace there are, among other disabilities of the musculoskeletal system, clients after lower and upper limb amputations. Stays are also suitable for school-age children.

Our team specializes in rehabilitation and physical medicine, providing diagnosis and therapy for musculoskeletal disorders. We offer a wide range of therapeutic services, including physiotherapy for post-injury conditions, neurological disorders and sports physiotherapy.

We provide follow-up therapeutic, rehabilitation, nursing and palliative care mainly to patients of the Ostrava University Hospital. Social care beds are also operated on the premises of the Hospital for the Long-term Ill. We provide complex treatment procedures aimed at improving the self-care and mobility of patients.

The House of Health provides services in the field of modern rehabilitation and physical medicine. There is a new, well-equipped physical therapy facility to apply a wide range of physical treatments, including the Super Inductive System high-induction magnet therapy and the Hiro TT high-power laser.

We operate a rehabilitation clinic. We provide rehabilitation programs with a focus on individual and group physical education, electrotherapy treatments, bath and whirlpool baths, preventive program of defective posture in children and treatment of functional gynecological disorders using the method of Mrs. Mojžíšová.

Patients can receive examination and treatment by a physician, ultrasound examination, application of medications to joints, and other services.

We provide outpatient health care in the field of orthopaedics and radiodiagnostics. We treat diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system in children and adults. We specialize in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, hip and ankle joints.
