We provide state administration in nature and landscape protection. We monitor the status, changes and development trends of selected habitats and populations of endangered species. We appoint a group of volunteer nature guardians, declare nature reserves and carry out nature surveys or professional monitoring.

We are a state institution focused on the care of the national park and the Labská Sandstones Protected Landscape Area. In addition to the necessary state administration, we provide environmental education and awareness, organize events for the public, coordinate monitoring, research and documentation of natural and cultural heritage.
