In addition to collection management and exhibition activities, the museum also focuses on organizing cultural events, lectures, talks, concerts, film screenings and art workshops for the public. The chateau houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the early years of Smetana's work. It also commemorates other composers who were born in the region over the centuries, such as Jan Dismas Zelenka, Josef Leopold Dukát and Josef Suk, or who visited and worked in the region - Richard Wagner, Gustav Mahler and others.

We offer a permanent exhibition of Tyniec stoneware in the museum.

The former Franciscan monastery in Votice now serves as a museum and gallery. There are permanent exhibitions: the Life of the Franciscans, the Homeland Museum, the Collective Work in Votice, paintings by Vladislav Kaska and Carriages and Dolls. The monastery also hosts seasonal exhibitions, lectures, concerts and other events.
