Operation of the House of Culture.

The ruins of a Gothic castle, named after the hill on which it was built in the second half of the 13th century. The first written mention dates back to 1318. Remains of several fortifications, buildings and the castle tower have been preserved until today. The only building that has survived in a better condition is the purgatory, which is now a museum.

We operate a permanent or short-term exhibition of the history of stone and shoemaking. We organize lectures, film festivals and concerts. We have a collection of weapons, folk textiles, crafts, furniture, archaeological finds and numismatic elements. We offer hall rental for seminars and training sessions.

Space for cultural and social events.

Provides information about the town, tourist attractions, accommodation, dining, cultural events, sights, businesses and organisations. We offer national transport searches, arranging guide services, pre-sale of tickets for cultural events and sell maps and souvenirs.

We mainly run a puppet theatre, but we organize or cooperate on cultural events for children and adults, we have various puppet shows, a period carousel, a small sound system, a photo corner.

We provide comprehensive catering services including the production and delivery of cold dishes. We provide catering services of all kinds and vending solutions through our own vending machines.

We organize puppet theatre performances for children and adults, concerts and professional seminars on puppets. We organize a national show of amateur puppetry. Our seminars focus on puppet and body manipulation, puppet making, the use of music in theatre and other topics.

The oldest and largest puppet museum in the Czech Republic located in the beautiful historic Mydlář House. Permanent exhibition focused on puppetry in the Czech Republic and abroad. A wide range of accompanying programmes for the public - exhibitions, theatre performances, concerts or school programmes.

We provide accommodation in 5 apartments with furnished kitchens, each apartment has a bathroom and bathroom facilities, as well as facilities for your wedding, from the place to organize the wedding ceremony, space for the wedding reception and accommodation of guests, private and public events.
