The Huss congregation is a church built in the neoclassical style. It is a three-aisled church with an asymmetrically placed bell tower and a prayer room on the raised ground floor, which is accessible by a monumental staircase with six columns.
The parish's main purpose is to provide spiritual facilities for Roman Catholic Christians living in its area. We celebrate regular services at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius. We strive to promote all that is good, beautiful and true. We care for cultural heritage.
Arranging religious services and religious meetings. Providing sacred rites including baptisms, blessing of the sacrament, confirmation and more. Conducting blessings for healing. Providing assistance to people who find themselves in need regardless of religion, color or nationality.
We provide social services and accommodation to adult women with dependent children up to 18 years of age (up to 26 years of age in case of dependency) and pregnant women in an unfavourable social situation, connected with the loss of housing, who want to solve their situation actively.
Baptist church holds worship services and religious meetings. Activities are especially directed toward children, youth and families. During our Sunday services we praise God with songs, pray and listen to Bible interpretation. We have a spiritual program for children during the main adult service.
Organisation of religious services and spiritual meetings. The parish is mentioned as early as 1345 but ceased to exist around 1630. In 1760 it was restored and incorporated into the canonry of Sternberg.
Our parish includes all groups and categories: children, youth, families, married and single, parents, grandparents, seniors. In addition, there is also the SKM (Salesian Youth Club z. s. ). Under its auspices, there are leisure activities, weekend and holiday events for children and youth.
