The museum in Ivančice is one of the oldest regional museums in Moravia. The museum now welcomes visitors to the exhibition spaces at Oslavany Castle, where temporary exhibitions on a wide variety of topics are held throughout the year. Oslavany Castle also houses a permanent lapidarium exhibition.

This functionalist villa, designed by Ernst Wiesner for the family of textile manufacturer Alfred Stiassni, was completed in 1929 and occupied until 1938. The tour lasts about 50 minutes, capacity is 20 people.

We provide exhibitions and lectures. We are dedicated to organizing programs for children and schools, concerts, competitions and accompanying events. Regular visitors can use a loyalty card. Permanent exhibitions include Extinct Life in Moravia, Prehistoric Moravia, Great Moravia, Moravia in the Middle Ages and the World of Minerals.

We operate an organization dedicated to the preservation, conservation, documentation and research of archaeological, architectural and other historical sites. We specialize in education, education and popularization. We conduct historical surveys, prepare historical development of the area and topography of the property.

The museum is engaged in the professional collection of documents and documents that tell about the material and spiritual culture of the Roma from the earliest times to the present. In addition to programmes and workshops, the museum offers guided tours of its permanent exhibition, The Story of the Roma, and lectures for schools.
