We offer displays on transportation, architecture, construction and design, astronomy and printing. We also have a photography studio, a model hall with a Mercury game room, the Chemistry Around Us exhibition and Measuring Time.

The museum was founded in 1891 at the instigation of the organisers of the Jubilee Exhibition.
