The department deals with the examination of biological materials of human and animal origin, performs basic and some specialized examinations in clinical biochemistry, hematology and microbiology, including consultation services and medical consiliary activities.

We deal with the collection of blood or other samples to be sent to a laboratory for analysis. Patients can come here on the recommendation of their doctor with a completed application form or so-called self-payers who want to pay for the examination themselves.
