The district courts have, in principle, subject matter jurisdiction over most civil and criminal cases at first instance.

We conduct court hearings and first instance trials in criminal, civil, foreclosure, probate and guardianship matters. We accept requests for information pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll. on free access to information, in the terms of the Ministry of Justice.
