Pátek Castle was originally a summer palace built between 1544 and 1557 by John the Younger of Lobkowitz, one of the richest noblemen in the Czech Kingdom. It is one of the first purely Renaissance buildings in Bohemia. Towards the end of the 17th century it was rebuilt in Baroque style and surrounded by a farmyard.

Offer tours of the castle interiors and the castle park. The castle was the setting for the films How Poets Taste Life, The End of Days and The Fairy Arnostka. The oldest written mention of Krásný Dvůr is from 1295, when Vilém of Krásný Dvůr is mentioned. It is possible to organize wedding ceremonies.

The chateau with an Italian terraced garden is one of the most important Rococo buildings in Bohemia. A tour circuit in the west wing is open to the public, commemorating the fate of the last private owner, the family of the Swiss consul Gerold Déteindre. The tour includes the Sala Terrna, the main hall and the chapel.

Valeč Castle is an important Baroque monument with a preserved urban and landscape context. The grounds include the castle, the Holy Trinity Church, a park and a lapidarium with a valuable set of sculptures by Matthias Bernard Braun. The complex shows a complex development from the glory of the noble residence, through fire to restoration.
