The respite service is a residential service, usually provided from one day to three months, for persons over 65 years of age who have reduced self-sufficiency due to age, adverse health conditions or disability and who are otherwise cared for at home.

Our aim is to provide a quality social service, taking into account the individual requirements and specifics of the residents. Accommodation is provided in a two-room residential unit where each resident has a separate single room. There is a shared kitchenette, bathroom and toilet for two users.

We provide social services based on Christian principles for people who are in an unfavourable social situation - for homeless people, families with children, seniors. We organize collections and charity events. Operation of a low-threshold facility for children and youth.

We offer outreach care services for the elderly and disabled who are in adverse social situations. We provide services for reduced self-sufficiency or chronic illness.

The mission of the Charity Centre of Mother Teresa - Care Service Ostrava is to provide seniors and persons with reduced self-sufficiency with quality field social services in their natural environment.
