The mission of the Charity Centre of Mother Teresa - Care Service Ostrava is to provide seniors and persons with reduced self-sufficiency with quality field social services in their natural environment.

We provide care to seniors and adults with impaired self-care abilities that allows them to remain in the environment of their own home in old age or illness. Depending on preferences, routines, and changing needs, we help persons to provide normal activities of daily living and care. We operate in Ostrava and its surroundings.

Offering accommodation and social services for the elderly. Our goal is to provide a year-round residential social service to seniors who have reduced self-sufficiency due to age and whose situation requires regular assistance from another individual. We also provide help and support to seniors with dementia.

We provide social services based on Christian principles for people who are in an unfavourable social situation - for homeless people, families with children, seniors. We organize collections and charity events. Operation of a low-threshold facility for children and youth.

The respite service is a residential service, usually provided from one day to three months, for persons over 65 years of age who have reduced self-sufficiency due to age, adverse health conditions or disability and who are otherwise cared for at home.
