In the OLMI sampling room, biological material is collected from outpatients. Blood draws, swabs and mycological examinations are performed.

The Antibiotic Center investigates the mechanisms of resistance of isolated bacterial pathogens to antibiotics and recommends antibiotic therapy based on the results. It compiles data on resistance of bacterial infectious pathogens.

The laboratories perform a wide range of investigations using state-of-the-art methods in the field of clinical microbiology, covering clinical bacteriology, virology, molecular microbiology, mycology, parasitology, mycobacteriology and infectious immunology.
