The State Institute for Drug Control is an administrative authority subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. Its task is to ensure that only quality, safe and effective medicinal products and functional and safe medical devices are used in the Czech Republic.

The administrative body for the execution of the social security and pension insurance agenda of professional soldiers and their family members. It grants and pays pension insurance benefits and retirement benefits to professional soldiers. It is the collecting authority for social security contributions.

The organization makes decisions about pension and sickness insurance benefits or the return of benefits. It collects insurance premiums and state employment policy contributions, acts in court, performs tasks in the payment of benefits abroad and ensures the issue of forms.
