Since 2005, the Monastery's premises have been used as a memorial to writing in Moravia. The memorial offers a showcase of important works of the past two centuries.

The church is built of red brick in the so-called North German Gothic style. The foundation stone was laid in 1863, the church would be consecrated four years later. The building is 45 metres long, the tower is 50 metres high. The simple interior is illuminated by sunlight through stained glass windows.
