The present school was opened in 1871. Side wings were added in 1886. The whole school grounds have been gradually renovated. It includes a multi-purpose sports field, the Bohemian Switzerland visitor area with an outdoor classroom, school canteen and day care facilities.

Primary school for 230 pupils with a recreation room and a canteen. We run a club of traditional village skills, journalism, choral singing and playing the flute and guitar, climbing on an artificial climbing wall, floorball. We organize parties, competitions, visit cinemas, theatres and exhibitions. We publish a school magazine.

We are a primary school for up to 120 pupils in Years 1 - 5. We also have a school daycare for 80 children and a school cafeteria. We are a smaller school with a pleasant atmosphere.
