We operate a primary school for 420 pupils. There is a school day care and a club. Teaching is extended in the area of mathematics. There are also projects for children, school trips, e-twinning, language and IT lessons. Sports and science competitions are also held.

The school is modernly equipped, pupils routinely work with computer technology - interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, desktop computers, laptops. The use of the school garden, which is divided into individual zones for teaching, active stay and rest of the pupils, is a great contribution to the efficiency of teaching.

The present school was opened in 1871. Side wings were added in 1886. The whole school grounds have been gradually renovated. It includes a multi-purpose sports field, the Bohemian Switzerland visitor area with an outdoor classroom, school canteen and day care facilities.
