The traditional task of the faculty is to prepare teachers for the first and second level of primary schools and in some subjects also for secondary schools.

Operation of the textile faculty and departments of textile materials, clothing, textile technology, design, textile chemistry, technology and management of clothing production, evaluation of textiles and non-wovens.

The department also provides teaching of courses dedicated to the use of ICT resources in various fields of study such as Foundations of ICT and Computer Science in Music Education and Production.

Faculty provides instruction in degree programs focused on computer science and its connection to technology or logistics operations. Operation of the Institute of Information Technology and Electronics, Mechatronics and Technical Informatics as well as New Technologies and Applied Informatics.

The faculty provides instruction in a two-stage, six-year degree program with a concentration in art and architecture. Department of Architecture, Urban Planning, Fine Arts, Environmental Design, Theory and History of Art and Architecture, Structural Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
