The department provides studies focused on the diagnosis and therapy of functional and organic disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the treatment of musculoskeletal pain.

The department provides teaching of church history of the ancient, medieval and modern periods in the world and Czech environment, cultural history of Europe, history of Christian art, sacral monuments and their protection, liturgical realities. The department prepares professionals for overall conceptual teaching and management activities in recreation facilities, public administration organizations, program centers and recreation centers as well as fitness centers.

The department provides teaching in the field of applied linguistics for English, German and Romance languages. It offers the possibility of obtaining an international ECL certificate.

The department provides math instruction for first and second grade elementary schools and special schools. It participates in the implementation of the doctoral program in Pedagogy.

The department is engaged in educational, research and development activities in computer science. It guarantees bachelor and master degree programmes in computer science.

The department provides instruction in sociology and andragogy.

The department provides instruction in mathematical analysis, applications of mathematics, mathematical and computer modeling, or economics with a focus on banking.
