The Institute is involved in teaching courses in the Bachelor of Chemistry and Food Technology programme. Within this programme, it offers the study programme Biotechnology and Food Chemistry. The field of study has applications in the production of synthetic materials, plastics processing, production of compounds and composites. We focus on the development of new ceramic, polymeric or composite materials for applications in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction and medicine.

The institute provides bachelor, master and doctoral studies in the fields related to the construction and operation of automobiles, tractors, internal combustion engines, transport and construction machinery. The Institute also focuses on the design, numerical simulation and verification of the dynamics of internal combustion engines and motor vehicles.

Organisation of courses in forensic and risk engineering, expert witness and technical expertise. The studio also offers a doctoral program in forensic engineering in both full-time and combined forms of study. The Institute organises courses in forensic engineering and publishes the journal Forensic Engineering.

The institute provides teaching mainly of hardware oriented subjects in all degree programmes, i.e. bachelor, master and doctoral programmes. The scientific research activities of the institute include the architecture of technical and software means of embedded systems.

The institute provides education in management, marketing, social sciences, production management and logistics. It guarantees an accredited Bachelor's degree programme in Economics and Process Management and a follow-up Master's degree programme in Business Management and Economics. It provides students with internships.

The Institute is the guarantor of the two-year follow-up Master's degree programme in Economics and Management of the study field of Corporate Finance and Business. The aim of the programme is to train highly qualified professionals with a broad perspective in the field of finance and business in the corporate and banking spheres.
