The Hydrobiological Station, which was established in 1924 in the building of the former farmhouse by Prof. Karel Schäffern, is a detached workplace of the Faculty of Science. Its establishment was a continuation of Prof. Fritz's "flying" station founded in 1988, which was one of the oldest such stations in Europe.

The faculty consists of the Departments of Applied Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical and Environmental Engineering, Electromechanics and Power Electronics, Technology and Measurement, and Theoretical Electrical Engineering. We operate the Regional Innovation Centre of Electrical Engineering.

It consists of the departments of applied mathematics and computer science, economics, business and tourism, law, management, accounting and finance, EU structural policy and rural development KSP and languages.

We offer vocational studies focusing on biological, chemical, physical and mathematical study programs. The faculty consists of departments of botany, genetics, experimental plant biology, animal physiology, ecosystem biology, parasitology, zoology, molecular biology and medical biology.

Offering bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in nursing, specializing in health care, dentistry and general medicine. The faculty offers audiovisual equipment or a library with a study room. We provide the opportunity to study abroad in English.

The faculty consists of the departments of English and American studies, foreign languages, philosophy, literary culture and Slavic studies, religious studies, social sciences or educational sciences. The faculty includes the Institute of Historical Sciences.

The faculty consists of nine specialized departments and three divisions. It focuses on the merging of health and social issues. It presents itself in scientific and pedagogical activities oriented to the application of timely and coordinated action and rational inclusion of disabled people.
