The size of the library's collection is around 40,000 volumes and is divided into collection and specialised sections. There is also a reading machine. We provide reprographic services for researchers.

We provide library services. We have specialized and regional literature, old prints, archival materials, books and magazines. We inform, document and archive museum events. You will find here works of history, art history, architecture, ethnography, religion and others.

Possibility to borrow publications on general history, art history, specialized holdings of old prints, historical balneological writings and treatises on Carlsbad treatment, geology, mining and regional holdings on the history and nature of the West Bohemian spa region, tourist guides, directories and more.

The library houses over 250,000 volumes of books and journals, old prints and maps of a professional military nature. It focuses on military history and historical holdings. We provide interlibrary loan services and access to a digital library.

We operate a research library with a study room. There is an on-line catalogue of books and internet access. We lend Czech and specialist literature. We provide lending, reference, reservation and reprographic services. We organize literary talks and other library events.

We operate a museum library focusing on regional specialist literature. We offer bibliographic and information services, interlibrary loan services and reprographic services. We organise talks, lectures and library events for schools and the public.

The largest publicly accessible library in the Czech Republic specialising in art, architecture and design - the collection comprises over 190,000 volumes. Entrance to the library is free, registration is required to access the entire collection and services. The UPM library lends only in person.

We operate a library specializing in general ethnography, history, linguistics, art history, encyclopedias and non-European ethnography. You will find not only books and journals but also an extensive graphic collection.
