The library collection is thematically focused on technical disciplines, especially civil engineering, natural sciences, economics and computing.

The Central Library is a specialized library with a collection profiled for mathematics, physics, earth sciences (geology, mineralogy, geography) and anthropology. The holdings of the departments of biology and chemistry of the Faculty of Science are located in the MU Campus Library.
