The basic mission of the library is to collect and make available literature for the Faculty of Business and also of a predominantly interdisciplinary nature belonging to the area of interest of the technical university. Sale of promotional items of the BUT.

The Central Faculty Library collects for study purposes a collection based on the courses of study provided by the Faculty. We allow the purchase of books or interlibrary loan service. You can also find Czech and foreign magazines, newspapers or law collections.

Provide library and information services primarily to students and faculty staff, but also to other interested individuals from the BUT, other universities, and the professional community. The library collection is thematically focused on technical disciplines, especially civil engineering, natural sciences, economics and computing.

The Central Library is a specialized library with a collection profiled for mathematics, physics, earth sciences (geology, mineralogy, geography) and anthropology. The holdings of the departments of biology and chemistry of the Faculty of Science are located in the MU Campus Library.
