Offering library services with a focus on professional literature.

We offer books and media in German and Czech that report on events and developments in contemporary Germany.

We operate a library with the possibility of borrowing Bulgarian literature, Bulgarian translations of world classics, scientific literature, dictionaries and textbooks in Bulgarian. Titles are divided into lists of fiction, educational literature, catalogues and periodicals, maps and guides.

We offer a medical literature library service containing approximately 7,000 library items. The library subscribes to 125 journal titles of which 68 are Czech. We provide making copies, scanning or making ring bindings.

Offering library services and internet access. The book collection consists of about 3900 volumes, of which 300 volumes are the exchange collection, i.e. the borrowed collection is from the Prague City Library. To make the library more interesting, we do readings and discussions for school and pre-school pupils.

The Institute Library manages the Institute's professional library and journal holdings, maintains and completes the records of Institute publications (ASEP, RIV), and cooperates with domestic and foreign libraries and scientific information centres of related disciplines.

The library houses over 250,000 volumes of books and journals, old prints and maps of a professional military nature. It focuses on military history and historical holdings. We provide interlibrary loan services and access to a digital library.
