Practical two-year high school.

The study of the two-year practical school follows the educational programme of the special primary school. It focuses on the development of pupils with regard to their abilities, interests and degree of disability. Pupils develop the basic knowledge, skills and habits to perform simple activities in practical life.

The two-year practical school is intended for pupils with moderately severe mental disabilities, or mild mental disabilities in combination with other disabilities.

Practical school of one and two years develops key competences acquired at the level of basic education and forms professional competences according to the focus of training.

Our pupils and apprentices are mainly clients of homes for the disabled (DOZP) and homes with special regime (DZR) and sheltered housing (ChB). We teach them according to the Ministry of Education's framework curricula mainly in practical, simple subjects so that they can join the workforce after graduation.

We provide secondary education to pupils with special educational needs. We also provide pre-school and after-school education for children with social disadvantages.

The practical school is intended for pupils with physical (motor) and combined disabilities who have completed basic education in a practical primary school or basic education in a special primary school.

We run a secondary practical one and two year school for 18 pupils. We focus on developing communication skills, education for a healthy lifestyle, personality cultivation and achieving the maximum possible level of independence. We teach food preparation, laundry and housekeeping.

We educate pupils with combined disabilities (a combination of different types, forms and degrees of disability, e.g. a combination of mental and physical or mental and sensory disabilities). Education in our school is free of charge for all pupils. It is provided in category E subjects and practical school.

It is a full-time secondary education. It is intended for pupils with moderate mental disabilities or pupils with mild mental disabilities in combination with other disabilities.

The two-year practical school gives pupils with a moderate degree of mental disability or with a mild mental disability in combination with another disability that prevents them from attending another type of secondary school the opportunity to obtain a secondary education.

The aim of education in the two-year practical school is to supplement and expand basic knowledge, skills and habits for the performance of simple activities in areas of practical life.

We provide secondary education to pupils with special educational needs who have completed their compulsory schooling in a special primary school, a practical primary school or a primary school (integrated pupils).

We run a one-year practical secondary school for pupils with severe disabilities, in particular those with severe intellectual disabilities, pupils with multiple disabilities and those diagnosed with autism.
