The municipal office provides all the necessary information to citizens. We operate an electronic official board and e-office. We are located in the Uherské Hradiště district in the Zlín Region on the right bank of the Morava River. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1131.

The first written report dates back to 1183. The town is located at an altitude of 214 metres. In the town there is a church of St. Andrew, a castle built at the beginning of the 17th century and a kindergarten and a primary school.
