It deals with referred complaints, petitions and suggestions. It proposes measures to improve the efficiency of the running of the office on the basis of a request from the Secretary of the Municipality. Provides technical support.

The department deals with tourism, sports or technical management of sports facilities in the city. It cooperates with the media and travel agencies, checks construction and technical documentation, and communicates with sports operators. We operate a city information centre with ticket sales.

The department provides comprehensive legal services and performs legal acts related to the activities of the statutory city. It also provides, on the basis of documents submitted by municipal departments, the City's opinion in administrative proceedings in cases where this competence is not delegated to other departments.

The department provides all technical and administrative services for the city management. It prepares documents, takes minutes, keeps diaries or organises events. It also specialises in the preparation or implementation of protocol receptions or the provision of translation and interpretation services. It manages the city's emblem and logo.

The department monitors the possibilities of drawing European funds for the benefit of the city and provides advice on European funds to the city's organisations. It creates and updates the city's strategic plans, development concepts and action plans and systematically identifies the city's immovable assets.

The department takes care of the functioning and development of the information system of the Liberec City Council and also maps the procedural procedures in the performance of administrative activities at the Municipality of Liberec.
