The office provides civil registry and population registration. It records civil registry events, births, marriages, deaths and issues extracts from civil registry books. It processes applications for citizenship certificates. It verifies civil registration documents from the registers of the relevant municipal authorities.

The office issues decisions on granting a concession, on suspension of trade, extracts from the criminal register, from the commercial register, from the trade register and from the land register. It keeps the trade register and the register of agricultural entrepreneurs. It cooperates with the Czech Trade Inspectorate.

City Management.

Provides construction legal activities of the city and environmental administration. Appoints, removes or abolishes the fisheries guard. Issues and withdraws fishing licenses. Maintains and processes records of waste and how it is disposed of. Manages hunting, keeps hunting statistics.

The Authority provides information and communication infrastructure for the city. Performs installation, setup, troubleshooting of systems and applications on servers and stations, including maintenance of peripheral equipment such as printers and scanners. The Office issues decisions on granting a licence, on suspension of the practice of a trade, maintains the trade register and accepts applications for registration or notifications in relation to the tax office or notifications of vacancies or their filling in relation to the employment office.
