The Department includes the Public Relations Department, the Organizational Department, the Civil Defence and Protection Department, the Economic Administration Department and the Motor Transport Department. It deals with the development of the city's emergency plan, maintenance of CO shelters and the provision of an early warning system for residents. It takes care of the prevention of industrial accidents.

Internal control of the activities of the various departments and divisions of the authority and their use of the financial and material resources allocated to them. Coordination of the exercise of financial control. Responsible for the organisation of the work and activities of the department in the departments assigned to it, and for cooperation with other departments of the Office and with the State authorities.

The Finance Department handles the City's budget and accounting. Manages local fees and billing. It handles personnel, payroll, and public space encroachment.

Provision of personnel, training and salary matters in the employment relations of officials and employees of the municipal district. Ensures the conduct of elections and referendums or censuses of houses, dwellings and population. Receives and registers petitions, complaints and requests for information.

Ensuring the complex operation of the Municipality of Ústí nad Labem, renting garage parking and offices in the Municipality building. Manages and maintains municipal buildings and provides energy supplies. Provides service activities for all employees of the Municipality of Ústí nad Labem.

Hears misdemeanors in matters administered by the Office of the Municipality, unless other administrative bodies have jurisdiction. Keeps a central record of all complaints and carries out inspection activities. Adjudicates misdemeanours and administrative offences.

Prepares and implements integrated city development plans, maintains records of grant applications submitted, organizes strategic development conferences, and produces and distributes promotional materials. Analyses national and European documents for the use of subsidies and presents implemented projects.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

Management of residential and non-residential premises and real estate assets of the city district.

Providing development, planning document preparation activities, regulatory plan preparation, city grant administration and procurement.

Management and registration of city property. Preparation and implementation of all disposition of these assets.

The department is responsible for the operation and development of the information system, manages the programs, the geographic information system data base and trains staff.

Provides service to the council and city council, city management, personnel, media relations, and promotion of the city.

Providing registry and civil registration, deciding on name and surname changes, carrying out verification of signatures and copies of documents, maintaining an electronic filing system, issuing permits for the location and operation of gaming machines and resolving administrative offences.
