We handle all capital projects within the city that are financed from the city budget and leases of land that are owned by the city. We deal with the management, maintenance, sale and privatisation of housing and housing stock. We arrange tenders for investment contractors.

The department provides civil registry and population registration. Issues birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates and registration documents for foreign countries. It also issues identity cards, passports, travel passes and other travel documents on the basis of international treaties. It declares a citizen's permanent residence and registers changes thereto.

We operate an office where you can find Czech POINT, vidimation and legalization of documents. The following departments are located here: environment and spatial planning, transport and road management and the department of trade agencies. The building authority, waste, forestry and water management, hunting and fisheries are also located here.

We are engaged in the management of the town's economy. We compile and adjust the budget, keep complex accounting records and provide treasury operations or inventory of movable assets. We manage the agenda of slot machines, local dog fees and administrative fees.

Providing environmental protection, permitting and prohibiting the felling of trees. We impose replacement planting, declare memorial trees and their protection zones and ensure their protection. We define and evaluate the local ecological stability system.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

The department ensures the implementation of the development plans of the town. It is responsible for seeking opportunities to obtain funding for the development of the town. It deals with the conceptual urban development of the various sites of the town and ensures the preparation of studies. It coordinates the implementation of the Healthy City Hodonín project.
