The department provides construction legal activities of the city. In its administrative district it ensures the performance of state administration in the field of building regulations and land use planning. It issues zoning decisions, building permits, building permits and other acts according to the Building Act.

The Municipal Trade Licensing Office carries out activities within the scope of Act No. 455/1991 Coll. on Trade Licensing and also functions as a central registration point (CRM). The Municipal Trade Licensing Office is the operator of the Trade Register.
